Job Description

Drive the development of new research studies based on business strategy and knowledge gaps.

Drive product discovery planning with design and product partners.

Create presentations that connect customer needs and abilities with business goals.

Coach junior researchers in shaping studies and findings to realize greater impacts.

Lead cross‑functional design thinking exercises using research findings as a starting point.

Identify UX metrics for tracking.

Prepare and teach introductory trainings on experience research for other user experience practitioners.

Develop stakeholder relationships and scope changes throughout research studies.

Present findings to team members and stakeholders from multi-disciplinary backgrounds.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Behavioral Science, User Experience, Information Architecture or related field plus 3 years of experience as a User Experience (UX) Researcher or related occupation.

Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree in the same fields plus 5 years of experience as a UX Researcher or related occupation.

Three years of experience planning and executing moderated and unmoderated remote studies, defining the research agenda and scope within product strategy and business needs, and planning and conducting research using methodologies including concept testing, semi‑structured interviews, co‑designs, surveys, and contextual inquiries.

Proficiency using UserZoom, UserTesting, Miro, FigJam, Confluence, Jira, Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Recollective, and DSCOUT for user testing, visual modeling, diary studies, and workshop facilitation.

Job Information Job Location: 1111 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43240. This position requires up to 30% domestic travel to client sites.

Full‑Time.
