Desktop Support Engineer - (Fulltime) NYC

Position Summary
Amicable personality with focus on positive personnel interactions and customer service satisfaction
Experience with, and strong understanding of, Windows 11 and desktop hardware including VoIP phones, printers, and accessories (docking stations, monitors, cameras, etc.) as well as multiple software applications
Understanding of cellphone operations and cellular plan issuance
Proficient in the installation, configuration, and deployment of all desktop hardware
Familiarity with Intune or other Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
Ability to learn and apply various technology support and implementation methodologies
Fundamental understanding of networking, including VPN, Wi‑Fi, PC imaging, and cabling infrastructure (Layer 2/3 routers/switches)
Experience in the configuration and installation of network hardware devices
Knowledge of Cybersecurity principles, protocols, and managed rulesets
Competent in the oversight and review of Security Event and Incident Management (SIEM) logs and interfacing with a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) (CrowdStrike centric preferred)
Capable of vehicular transport and physical deployment of multiple sizes and types of computer hardware up to 50 lbs
Owner of personal transportation and willingness to travel over 40 miles per day
Capable of following and executing detailed instructions regarding technology and its deployment
Attention to detail as it applies to inventory management and record keeping
Experience in incident and service request tools (Service Desk ticketing applications)
Reliable in terms of following a time‑sensitive schedule and meeting imposed deadlines
Qualifications
