Neurological Surgery Nurse Practitioner – Beth Israel Lahey Health, Burlington, MA
Join Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, a premier health organization, as a full‑time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver high‑quality outpatient neurosurgery care. We seek a dedicated PA or NP with strong patient‑centered skills and a collaborative academic environment.
What You’ll Do
Provide pre‑surgical and spinal evaluations and manage chronic neurosurgical conditions in the outpatient setting.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Conduct patient follow‑up care and provide patient education.
Work autonomously while integrating into an interdisciplinary team.
Your Schedule
Full‑time, Monday – Friday
No routine nights, weekends, or on‑call obligations.
What We’re Looking For Experience & Skills
Direct patient care experience in an outpatient setting.
Prior neurosurgery experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
Proficiency with Epic and Microsoft applications.
Education & Licensure
Master’s or Doctoral Degree in nursing or physician assistant studies.
Current licensure as an APP in Massachusetts.
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Prescriptive authority for controlled substances in Massachusetts and a DEA registration.
