Prestonwood Landscape Services is seeking a highly autonomous Recruiter to lead the full recruitment lifecycle across the organization, from high‑volume Field Operations roles to strategic Professional and Corporate positions.

Position Overview Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, this role owns the full recruitment lifecycle for all positions, ranging from high‑volume Field Operations roles to strategic Professional and Corporate roles. The Recruiter is a self‑starter who thrives on managing a diverse requisition load, building relationships, and directly contributing to the company’s success by hiring top talent.
Key Responsibilities
Full‑cycle recruitment: lead end‑to‑end recruitment for all vacant positions, including proactive sourcing, advanced screening, interviewing (in English/Spanish), and offer negotiation.
Strategic sourcing: develop, implement, and manage innovative, multi‑channel sourcing strategies to attract a diverse and qualified candidate pool, utilizing job boards, community networks, trade schools, social media, and industry partnerships.
Stakeholder partnership: proactively collaborate with branch management and the leadership team to forecast staffing needs, refine job requirements, and align talent acquisition efforts with overall business strategy.
Process efficiency: maximize the utilization of our Applicant Tracking System (Paycor ATS) to ensure a clean, compliant pipeline and a positive candidate experience.
Employer branding & outreach: act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at job fairs, school visits, and community events to continuously build a robust pipeline for future needs.
Talent analytics: develop strategies to analyze employee turnover data and recruitment metrics to continuously improve hiring quality, efficiency, and retention.
Compliance & administration: manage critical pre‑employment steps, including E‑Verify and background screening.
Qualifications
2‑3 years of progressive, full‑cycle recruiting experience, ideally managing both high‑volume/field and professional requisitions.
Proven ability to work independently and manage the entire recruiting function with minimal supervision.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
Valid Texas driver’s license.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or a related field is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Expert knowledge of the full recruitment lifecycle, modern sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates, influence hiring managers, and negotiate offers effectively.
Working knowledge of basic HR fundamentals, benefits administration, and federal/state employment laws (FLSA, EEO, etc.).
Superior organizational skills and time management; ability to prioritize a high volume of diverse tasks and maintain meticulous records.
Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Paycor) and common office software (MS Office Suite).
