Accounting Analyst

Senior Utility Accounting Analyst – Insight Global Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Utility Accounting Analyst in the Greater Denver Area. This individual will be responsible for supporting accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting close cycles and development of subsequent internal & external financial statements, required regulatory reporting forms and filings. You will reconcile assigned accounts, analyze financial data and prepare complex accounting ledger entries, prepare critical reports for C-Suite stakeholders, settle inter-company receivables & payables and prepare property valuations.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of professional experience

Accounting or Finance Degree

Big Four or Public Accounting experience

Experience with Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft Power Apps or analytical reporting tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CPA

MBA

Experience working in the Energy/Utility industry

Regulatory experience

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
