Overview Seeking a Project Engineer to lead the design and development of products for automotive applications. This role covers the full product lifecycle—from concept to production launch—and serves as the primary technical contact for customers. You’ll manage technical projects, create CAD models and drawings, and ensure designs meet quality and manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design innovative products using Creo and best modeling practices
Develop 3D CAD models, drawings, and APQP documentation
Optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, and cost using FEA/CFD and test data
Lead technical discussions with customers and internal teams
Coordinate validation plans and testing activities
Maintain engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, FMEAs, ECOs)
Support design changes, cost reduction, and technical reviews
Contribute to product innovation, benchmarking, and R&D initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Proficient in Creo and simulation-based design optimization
Ability to interpret engineering/testing specifications
Compensation Hourly Range: $43-52/hr
