What this job involves –
Seeking an entry-level Team Support Specialist to assist our security hardware technicians in the field. This role primarily involves supporting technicians with basic tasks such as holding ladders or picking up parts from suppliers or warehouses. The position focuses on providing general assistance while learning low voltage electrical work, including ensuring badge readers function properly. Additional responsibilities include CMMS data review, work order follow up, client customer service, project walks for quotations, equipment ordering, administrative duties and covering the front desk reception area.
Your day to day :
Actively support an environment of teamwork, cooperation, and personal growth
Assist experienced technicians with field tasks, primarily in a support capacity (holding ladders, handling tools, etc.)
Pick up parts from suppliers or warehouse locations as needed
Learn basic operation of various tools and equipment with safety as a priority
Accompany team members on job walks with clients for new security hardware asset requests
Help coordinate with vendors to obtain quotations for equipment purchases
Review and maintain data in CMMS systems, keeping asset records and documentation up-to-date
Communicate with vendors regarding scheduling, quotations, and invoicing
Work closely under the direction of the department Manager, Team Lead, and other team members
Participate in basic technical, safety, and operational process training
Maintain tools, parts, equipment, and supplies in clean and organized condition
Receive and deliver vendor parts purchases as required
Attend weekly team meetings and bi-weekly JLL meetings with account team
Cover Facility Coordinator duties when requested

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Basic communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Basic computer skills including entry‑level Microsoft suite proficiency
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use ladders safely
Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment
Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and / or drive
Valid California Driver's License
Reliability and punctuality
Customer service orientation
Preferred Qualifications
Some interest in building maintenance, security hardware such as badge readers, and low voltage electrical work
Basic familiarity with hand tools
Trade school, union training, military service, or some college is desirable
Estimated total compensation for this position :
56,160.00 – 60,320.00 USD per year
The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
