Partners in Learning, an independent educational support company located in the D.C. metro area, is eagerly searching for enthusiastic individuals to join their team for the 25‑26 school year. As an educator with Partners in Learning, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional educational support to students by conducting one‑on‑one sessions with students during and after regular school hours.
Responsibilities
Conduct one‑on‑one sessions with students during and after regular school hours.
Qualifications
Experience teaching elementary and middle school students in literacy, math, and/or executive function.
A strong passion for teaching and fostering a positive learning environment.
High qualifications and expertise in education, particularly in Orton‑Gillingham / Science of Reading based approaches.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
A commitment to individualized instruction and the ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to students' unique needs.
Working hours and pay Hourly pay for this position ranges from $75 to $85 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The number of available hours per week may vary, with opportunities ranging from 10 to 25 hours, providing flexibility to suit individual preferences and schedules.
