The Vice President of Operations is responsible for the implementation of the strategic operations direction in accordance with the company’s overall goals and strategies. The individual has responsibility of multiple locations providing support to the Regional Sales Managers, Branch Managers and their respective teams.

Responsibilities

Responsible for region/area performance with emphasis on operational improvement projects, inventory management, indirect spend, freight management, operational queues, IT, and more

Responsible for leading Total Quality Inventory Management solutions across the organization

Implement operational programs to drive operational

Identify opportunities to improve Indirect Spend through negotiation and analysis to drive efficiency and economies of scale

Implement safety standards and practices across the organization.

Work closely with the OpCo President on ad hoc projects to drive operational improvements and efficiencies

Provide overall leadership to drive flawless execution, culture, and company values

Partner with Branch Managers to research, report and correct any operational improvement functions/issues

Identify opportunities for improvement and lead in the implementation of new processes and SOP’s

Ensure associates comply with all safety policies, procedures and regulations

Operational planning and involvement with all managers

Perform other duties as required or directed

Minimum Qualifications

4-year college degree with an emphasis on business, and/or a combination of relevant knowledge through job related experience & training.

Extensive knowledge of the distribution industry with industry-related experience preferred.

Hands‑on experience

Experience working in the Eclipse ERP is preferred.

Proven leadership with communication and organization skills.

Understanding/experience with omni‑channel business, including digital.

Able to problem solve.

Ability to multi‑task and adapt quickly to changes.

Salary: $200,000 - $240,000 with bonus potential
