Job Overview
NVISION® Eye Centers is one of the largest ophthalmology providers in the U.S., with over ninety centers across six states. The Optometrist will lead the center by ensuring patient care is at the forefront of all activities, seeing general ophthalmology patients and educating patients on cataract surgery and lifestyle lenses. Compensation
$525 - $550 per day with bonus opportunities available. Responsibilities
Leads all clinical aspects of the center to ensure the best patient care for all general ophthalmology, cataract, and glaucoma patients. Works with technicians to improve testing efficiencies and patient work‑up, ensuring accurate refractions. Follows the clinical standards of care for the center, including operating practices, incident tracking/reporting, quality maintenance, surgical protocol, and medication protocols. Interacts with the center and surgeon to ensure full communication regarding surgical protocol, patient management, and medication schedule. Performs pre‑ and post‑operative care and assists doctors with pre‑ and post‑operative care when complications arise. Follows up with co‑managing/referring doctors regarding patient status and results. Defines and reports any clinical incidents as necessary. Assists in other areas as needed. Qualifications
Licensed Optometrist in the state of California. Cataract experience preferred. Desire to be an integral part in providing an exceptional patient experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
