The Griffing Group is seeking a Senior Associate who will provide business valuation and economic damages analysis for M&A/shareholder litigation, corporate strategic planning, tax controversy/compliance, and other high-profile consulting engagements.
We are a nationally renowned firm trusted by attorneys, corporations, and high net worth investors to deliver the highest quality valuation and damages reports and expert witness testimony.

for the opportunity to partner with industry-leading professionals and senior-level clients in a collaborative, boutique consulting environment.
Responsibilities
Analyze financial statements and conduct industry research
Build sophisticated valuation models
Conduct due diligence interviews with corporate executives and attorneys
Prepare valuation reports and deliver presentations to clients
Review and organize key discovery documents in litigation engagements
Analyze reports prepared by opposing experts
Assist experts from our firm in writing expert reports and preparing for expert witness testimony
Support the firm's business development and marketing activities
Required Qualifications
Two or more years of recent work experience in business valuation. Experience with litigation assignments preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required. Graduate degree and/or relevant professional credentials (e.g., ABV, ASA, CFA, CPA, CVA) are preferred
Comfort working in situations where scope of work, deliverables, and deadlines can shift mid-project.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written skills
Ability to travel to client sites ( Live within commutable distance from Chicago
Work without needing employer sponsorship for visa status
