Responsibilities
Ensure safe and high-quality delivery of radiation therapy.
Provide education, training, and oversight to clinical staff.
Interpret and monitor radiation safety policies, procedures, standards, and equipment for Radiation Oncology Services.
Implement and abide by customer service and family‑centered care principles.
Qualifications
M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics (or closely related field).
Minimum 3‑5 years of clinical experience and completion of a CAMPEP‑accredited residency.
Certification in Radiation Oncology Physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or eligibility to achieve board certification within 3 years.
Experience with high‑dose‑rate (HDR) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) programs preferred.
Experience with computerized treatment planning, linear accelerators, surface guidance, and accelerator‑based simulators preferred.
Global travel 50‑75% of the time.
