In this position you will lead cross‑disciplinary teams to design, construct, and commission water treatment and pumping facilities across the Mid‑Atlantic and East Central regions, applying advanced treatment processes and engineering principles to meet complex water challenges.

Base pay range $130,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Lead the design and engineering of water treatment and pumping facilities, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Utilize modeling tools, bench‑scale analysis, pilot‑plant design, and full‑scale design concepts for water treatment processes.

Oversee design, construction, and commissioning of treatment plants and pump stations.

Support business development by identifying new project opportunities and interacting directly with clients.

Teach and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum of 15 years of consulting engineering experience, with at least $4M in design fees per project.

Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.

Extensive experience in water, wastewater, and reuse systems, including design of distribution and treatment facilities.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Self‑motivated initiator with demonstrated involvement in professional societies.

Knowledge of drinking‑water supply planning, master planning, and advanced treatment technologies.
