Your Part‑Time Controller, LLC is a national award‑winning accounting firm that serves nonprofit organizations. We are seeking a dedicated, personable Controller to guide our clients and provide transformative accounting services. The role is hybrid with a strong emphasis on client engagement and strategic improvement. Responsibilities

Serve as the outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple nonprofit clients. Prepare and present financial reports for management and board decision making. Recommend and implement improvements to accounting, operations, internal controls, and compliance policies and procedures. Manage transactional activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable (revenue recognition and billing), payroll, general accounting, reconciliations, month‑end close, and workpaper maintenance. Perform analysis, budgeting, and forecasting with data visualization. Lead grant management, allocations, and funder reporting. Prepare for and manage annual audit and other compliance requirements. Provide training and support to client staff and board members. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred). 5‑7+ years of accounting experience, preferably with nonprofit or public‑accounting exposure. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with multiple general ledger packages, especially QuickBooks and electronic bill pay systems. Experience working remotely preferred. Ability to manage and lead multiple clients independently and respond promptly to client needs. CPA certification or other professional accounting credentials considered a plus. Fluency in English; Spanish bilingualism is a plus. Customized cover letter explaining interest and qualifications is required. YPTC Offers
