Job Description Azure IaC (Infrastructure as Code) Engineer
We are seeking a driven and innovative Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to support a large-scale enterprise transformation. This role is ideal for a self-starter eager to work on the bleeding edge of cloud technology, helping shape the future of enterprise services through intelligent automation and scalable infrastructure.
As part of a dynamic cloud transformation team, you will be instrumental in automating the provisioning and management of Azure environments to support just-in-time, elastic, and secure services across the enterprise. You will contribute to both the daily operations and the strategic evolution of our cloud footprint, with a strong focus on innovation and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, and PowerShell to provision and manage Azure resources.
Automate the deployment, scaling, and monitoring of cloud-based environments to ensure high availability, performance, and cost optimization.
Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps teams, and application developers to implement just-in-time and dynamic resource provisioning strategies.
Participate in day-to-day cloud environment administration, ensuring systems and services remain secure, reliable, and performant.
Drive the implementation of best practices in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, configuration management, and monitoring.
Lead and contribute to the design of innovative cloud services, including new platforms, frameworks, and enterprise-scale systems.
Stay up-to-date on emerging Azure technologies, recommending and implementing solutions that drive business agility and operational efficiency.
What you’ll need to succeed The Azure IaC (Infrastructure as Code) Engineer must have:
Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
Experience: 3+ years of related experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
Technical skills: Proven ability to automate complex deployments and configurations across multi‑environment Azure landscapes. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and infrastructure monitoring solutions.
Role Requirements
Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud systems.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, especially in cross‑functional and Agile teams.
Demonstrated self‑starter mentality with a passion for learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ‑104, AZ‑305, or Terraform Associate).
Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments.
Familiarity with managing hybrid cloud environments or migrations from on‑prem to Azure.
Understanding of cloud‑native services (e.g., Azure Functions, AKS, Event Grid).
Additional Requirements
Must be willing to support an on‑call rotation.
Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly.
US citizenship required.
Certification Required: 8570 compliant with a Security + certificate.

Salary Range The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000.
