Base Pay Range $69.00/hr – $93.00/hr
Responsibilities
Application Troubleshooting: troubleshoot and resolve issues with applications/servers in a complex, ever‑changing environment, identify the root cause, present options and implement permanent fixes.
System Administration: perform system setup, configuration, and routine maintenance tasks on various Linux distributions, including user account management, software installation, and system updates.
Automation and Scripting: develop and maintain shell scripts and automation tools to streamline system management and administrative tasks.
Security and Compliance: implement and maintain security best practices, including firewalls, access controls and vulnerability assessments; ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Network Management: configure and troubleshoot network services, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and routing; collaborate with network engineers to optimize performance.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: set up and manage monitoring tools and respond to alerts promptly; troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis.
Backup and Recovery: establish and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions; test and refine recovery procedures regularly.
Software Management: manage software packages and dependencies using package management systems; keep software up to date and secure.
Performance Optimization: fine‑tune system performance through kernel optimization, resource monitoring and load balancing.
Requirements
RHCSA, Server+, Security+ certifications.
Linux and Windows Server administration experience.
VMware, Hyper‑V, PowerShell and Bash scripting skills.
System hardening and security best practices.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Pay Range Notes The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
