Clinician / Social Worker – Project IMPACT

Child Welfare Services at WIHD seeks a part‑time, bilingual clinician/MSW/MHC (21 hrs per week) to join Project IMPACT, an innovative, research‑based program that provides in‑home training and support to adults with an intellectual disability or history of significant learning disabilities whose children are at risk of foster care placement. Services are based on a curriculum that emphasizes in‑vivo learning and modeling of over 21 parenting skills, including home safety, problem solving, and parent advocacy. Clinicians are assigned a small number of families so that there is opportunity to provide an intensive level of services. The Clinician / Social Worker must be available to schedule appointments during weekday daytime hours and be available to travel to homes in Westchester County. The Bilingual Clinician / Social Worker / Mental Health Counselor position is eligible for paid time off, life insurance, short and long term disability and 403B employer contribution.
