VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional
AI & Agentic Delivery Manager
to join our offices in Costa Mesa, California.
The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in AI, with a strong focus on generative and agentic capabilities. The manager is responsible for designing, developing, and orchestrating organizational enablement of intelligent autonomous agents that can interact with tools, users, and digital systems to perform complex tasks.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead a scalable community of practice to accelerate safe and distributed adoption of agentic capabilities across the organization.
Manage governance forums, solution portfolios, and enforce responsible‑AI policies, including explainability, transparency, and controls against zombie or shadow AI.
Champion generative‑AI and agentic literacy through education, frameworks, and cultural transformation initiatives across business and technical teams.
Oversee agentic model lifecycles, conducting use‑case tiering, autonomy‑permission mapping, and defining guardrails for responsible deployment.
Identify and shape high‑impact opportunities for agent‑driven automation and personalization across customer and employee journeys.
Define agent goals, tool access, collaboration patterns, memory, and reasoning behaviors for single and multi‑agent ecosystems.
Design and implement autonomous workflows using platforms like LangChain, OpenAI Assistants, or CrewAI, while continuously optimizing agent performance through prompt engineering, tool calling, and feedback loops.
Partner with governance and data teams to ensure security, compliance, and continuous improvement through agent monitoring, user feedback, and human‑in‑the‑loop mechanisms.
Skills for Success
Education and experience : Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or Engineering, with 4‑5 years of experience managing DS/ML projects.
Python & ML libraries : Advanced Python skills with expertise in pandas, numpy, scikit‑learn, matplotlib, and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
LLM development and fine‑tuning : Experience training, fine‑tuning (LoRA, PEFT, full fine‑tuning), and deploying large language models using open‑source and proprietary architectures.
Prompt engineering & in‑context learning : Advanced prompt design strategies to steer generative outputs accurately and efficiently.
Retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and vector stores : Deep understanding of combining LLMs with external knowledge sources via vector databases and embedding models.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) : Hands‑on experience implementing MCP to securely connect LLMs with external apps, data sources, and tools through two‑way standardized interfaces.
Agentic AI & orchestration : Skilled in building autonomous agents with tools like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, and OpenAI GPTs.
Multimodal AI integration : Ability to develop applications that understand and generate across text, image, and audio modalities.
Data engineering & SQL : Familiarity with data pipeline design and efficient SQL for large‑scale structured data systems.
MLOps & deployment : Experience deploying ML/GenAI models using Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
LLM evaluation & observability : Hands‑on experience with tools like LangSmith, TruLens, or custom metrics to monitor hallucinations, drift, latency, and user feedback loops.
Responsible AI & governance : Understanding of AI safety, fairness, explainability, data privacy, and enterprise governance frameworks.
Product management & business impact : Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into GenAI solutions with clear ROI, ideally within retail, fashion, or digital transformation domains.
Cross‑functional leadership : Proven stakeholder engagement skills across engineering, UX, legal, and operations, with a track record of leading agile, cross‑disciplinary teams.
LLM ecosystem & vendor management : Experience evaluating and integrating with external LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock) and managing platform interoperability.

Compensation Hiring Range:
$138,240.00 USD - $172,800.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential:
