Job Title
Supervisor Nursing - SICU – Mission Hospital Mission Viejo, CA. Full Time, 3 Nights – 12-hour shift position.
Job Overview The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is a 20-bed critical care unit specializing in neuro and trauma critical care management. We are a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level II Trauma Center, and care for the most complex patients such as neuro/TBI/Stroke/spinal cord injuries, complex surgeries, trauma, and medical critical care patients.
Responsibilities Under the direction of the nurse manager, director, or executive director, the Charge Nurse/Nursing Supervisor provides an optimal environment and assists in overseeing and directing unit activities and personnel to ensure high quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
California Registered Nurse License upon hire
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
One professional certification in a related area upon hire
2 years recent clinical experience in specialty area
Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Nursing
Leadership experience
Ideal Candidate
2 years recent ICU experience in an acute care (hospital) setting
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
ICU Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse/Leadership experience
Salary Range USD $141,294 to $223,100
