Technical Applications Specialist (Medical Technologist)
Location: San Antonio or Austin, Texas.
Join Siemens Healthineers as a Technical Applications Specialist (Medical Technologist) to support customers in the optimal usage of Siemens Healthineers applications and instrumentation.
Responsibilities
Assist in growth of the business by providing excellent customer support and becoming the project coordinator of all installations assigned.
Perform system implementations, software upgrades, and customer training following established guidelines.
Maintain high level of customer satisfaction, identify “at risk” customers and communicate effectively to internal stakeholders.
Resolve customer issues efficiently and participate in escalations as expected.
Train other Technical Applications Specialists and travel outside the region to support other territories.
Collaborate with Sales and Service peers to promote sales through product demos and technical presentations.
Organize and participate in field‑based customer education events.
Work in accordance with government regulations, FDA, OSHA, Siemens Healthineers Quality System, and company safety guidelines.
Requirements
Ability to travel within and outside the region more than 90% of the time, including overnight travel Monday‑Friday.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
BA/BS preferably in Medical Technology; strong technical knowledge of medical technology.
2+ years of laboratory experience; prior field experience preferred; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy is mandatory (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Strong presentation and selling skills; alignment with corporate Vision, Values, and Beliefs.
