Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital is accepting applications for a post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Psychology for the 2026-2027 training year. The fellowship offers a competitive stipend of $60,000 with full benefits and a start date in summer or fall 2026.
About Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital is an 88-bed psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing quality behavioral health services for a diverse population of children and adolescents. The facility offers advanced technologies and programs throughout inpatient and partial services.
Responsibilities The post-doctoral fellow will be actively involved in supervision of pre-doctoral practicum students, program development and administration. The fellow will also engage in direct delivery of psychotherapy and diagnostic services across the continuum of care, including inpatients and the partial hospitalization program.
Qualifications Applicants must have completed a minimum of 2,000 hours of internship in clinical psychology, and have been awarded their doctoral degree by the start date. Applicants should possess strong diagnostic and therapy skills, leadership qualities, strong verbal and writing skills, and the ability to work independently. A vested interest in furthering clinical, supervisory, and administrative skills is required.
