Pediatric Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Children’s Minnesota is recruiting for a 2026-2027 Pediatric and Outpatient Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. The fellowship will include outpatient therapy and assessment, pediatric psychology placements, inpatient consultation and liaison, didactics, case presentations, and supervision opportunities. Fellows will work with medical providers and multidisciplinary teams across the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient therapy and assessment to pediatric patients.

Receive training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and evidence-based treatments.

Participate in pediatric psychology placements in specialties such as Diabetes, Feeding Disorders, Eating Disorders, Behavioral Sleep Medicine, Cancer and Blood Disorders, Integrated Behavioral Health.

Engage in inpatient consultation and liaison and monthly didactics.

Document therapy sessions, diagnostics, and treatment plans in a timely manner.

Offer supervision or mentorship of practicum students as available.

Work collaboratively with medical providers and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Doctorate (PhD, PsyD) in Clinical, School, or Counseling Psychology from an APA-approved institution with a child emphasis preferred.

Completed an APA-approved internship by the start of the fellowship.

Ability to comfortably complete and document a psychology diagnostic assessment.

Training and experience with evidence-based treatments.

Timely completion of documentation and readiness to engage in independent therapy without a supervisor present.

Offer holds until the APPIC common hold date of February 23, 2026.
