A prominent law firm is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney to join its Fund Finance Practice in Charlotte. The ideal candidate will have 2‑3 years of experience in banking and finance law, specifically in areas such as fund financings, acquisition financings, and leveraged finance. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex transactions, including both domestic and cross‑border deals.

Location

Duties

Assist in secured and unsecured lending transactions, including fund financings, acquisition financings, and leveraged finance.

Handle bridge loans and other complex syndicated and bilateral financings.

Collaborate on both domestic and cross‑border finance deals for a diverse client base.

Conduct legal research and prepare documentation to support various financial transactions.

Work closely with senior attorneys to develop and implement financing strategies.

Requirements

2‑3 years of relevant experience in fund finance, leverage finance, or private credit.

Experience with complex domestic and cross‑border finance transactions.Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree, graduating class of 2022 or 2023, from an accredited law school.

Certifications

Active bar membership, in good standing, with the ability to practice in North Carolina or eligibility for admission.

Skills

Proficiency in handling various financing transactions, including secured and unsecured lending.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
