Director, Corporate Communications
to develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan that aligns with our mission and values. This role partners closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure consistent, clear, and impactful messaging across all internal and external platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, creativity, and exceptional communication skills to advance the organization’s visibility, reputation, and engagement with key audiences. Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive organizational communication strategy. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure messaging aligns with Regional One Health’s mission and business goals. Creates and maintains a unified voice through both print and electronic media in collaboration with the administration. Develops media related activities, such as print communication materials, direct mail activities, radio announcements and news releases. Develops communication with public relations/marketing agency to ensure correct, timely and appropriate presentation of organizational information. Develops and executes communication strategies through: Drafting and revising planned communication approaches, channels and timing to ensure consistent and relevant messages. Recommending topics and suggested approaches for executive messages in support of the organization’s mission and businessdirection. Researching and writing communications, presentations and speaking points for the leadership team. Providing ad hoc communication and consulting support. Developing and reviewing articles for monthly internal newsletter. Develops an on-going media relations program and manages the publicity function for the hospital, its services and affiliated organizations while serving as a spokesperson for the hospital. Conducts interviews, researches and writes news releases, articles and feature stories to local and national publications to publicize and promote the activities and programs of the hospital and its services. Drafts and recommends public statements regarding public issues of interest to the hospital. Works collaboratively and serves as a resource for other departments regarding research, development and implementation for publication and communication efforts; collaborates with staff, technical consultants, graphic designers, photographers and freelancers as needed. Determines fiscal requirements; prepares budgetary recommendations; monitors, verifies and reconciles expenditure of budgeted funds. Prepares reports and analyses setting forth progress, trends and appropriate recommendation or expenditure of budgeted funds. Directs the publication program to include supervision of the creation and revision of publications, ensuring they meet program objectives; determines content and deadlines; supervises production activities of publications. Plans and executes multiple projects concurrently with attention to detail, deadlines and budget. Conducts research and manages special projects and studies. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism/Communications, Marketing, English, Business or related discipline required. Minimum 5 years experience in writing, public relations, media or community relations with at least three (3) years of experience in an administrative/management position required.
