About this Role: The Senior Enterprise Architect will be primarily working remotely but will need to be onsite to support customer meetings, whiteboarding sessions, presentations to our customers and any in-person meetings as requested by our customer. They will interface and communicate with the technical team on a day-to-day basis as a primary POC for all technical aspects of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a comprehensive architecture review to document and analyze the current state of our customer’s Human Resources Information Technology (HRIT) product lines —including Performance Management, Time and Attendance, Position Description Management, Talent Development, Data Warehousing, Case Management, Talent Acquisition, and Benefits Management.

Develop a target state technical architecture plan for each of the HRIT Product Lines

Support the data architect in designing a data migration plan and data models for the HRIT system portfolio

Support the data architect and data governance specialist in designing a data migration plan

Provide guidance to business and process analysts in designing a process consolidation plan with an implementation strategy

Identify trends and industry practices which might impact the organization’s target state

Deliver a current state technical architecture.

Deliverable should include Full system inventory, interfaces, dependencies, hosting, and technology stacks for each HRIT product line.

Deliver target state technical architecture.

Deliverable should include Future-state design aligned with our customer’s consolidation and federal standards for each HRIT product line

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, IT governance, or large-scale modernization initiatives.

Experience with Enterprise Architecture development and analysis.

Familiarity with TBM, CPIC, and federal portfolio management frameworks.

Experience in IT modernization, cloud adoption, cybersecurity resilience, and digital transformation initiatives.

Strong knowledge of federal IT mandates, enterprise architecture frameworks (FEAF, TOGAF, DoDAF), and SDLC best practices.

Expertise in IT governance processes, performance management, analytics, and working in an HR environment.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive briefing skills.

Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage competing priorities in a federal environment.
