Lead electronics architecture and hands‑on design for advanced, battery‑powered embedded systems integrating processors, RF modules, and efficient power management.

Own hardware development from concept to production, including schematic design, PCB layout collaboration, bring‑up, validation, and manufacturing release.

Guide external design partners by providing technical oversight and ensuring design integrity, performance, and reliability.

Develop and validate mixed‑signal electronics that integrate microcontrollers, power management circuits, RF subsystems, memory, sensors, and wireless interfaces including LTE, Wi‑Fi, GNSS, Bluetooth, and/or LoRa.

Collaborate with layout engineers to develop robust PCB designs with controlled impedance, optimized routing, and solid power distribution to achieve high signal integrity and system reliability.

Lead system bring‑up and testing using oscilloscopes, analyzers, and custom test fixtures. Execute validation plans to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate across disciplines with Firmware, Mechanical, Product, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration and production readiness.

Mentor engineers to elevate technical capability, design quality, and cross‑functional collaboration within the team.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering discipline

9+ years of industry embedded electronics design, with a major focus on designing robust, high‑density, battery‑powered embedded systems with integrated wireless connectivity.

Proficient leading electronics design and development from concept to mass production

Demonstrated ownership of embedded electronics architecture, design, and verification in several of the following areas: Microcontrollers, Lithium batteries, power management (SMPS, LDO), mixed‑signal circuits, RF module integration (GNSS, LTE), wired interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART), HDI Rigid, Flex, and Rigid‑Flex PCB design

Skilled with power supply design (Switch mode, linear regulators), power tree development, and power consumption analysis and optimization

Proficient with Lithium battery integration and low power design techniques

Experience integrating RF modules such as LTE, GNSS, or other wireless connectivity technologies in close collaboration with RF engineers.

Strong hands‑on experience with electronics bring‑up, characterization, and debug using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and custom test fixtures.

Schematic design proficiency using industry leading design tools. Experience with Cadence/OrCAD is preferred.

Proficient directing and collaborating with PCB engineers to realize successful rigid and flexible PCB layouts. Experience with Allegro Viewer a plus.

Experience collaborating with external design partners to achieve high‑quality, reliable electronics designs that meet performance and manufacturing goals.

Experienced in designing electronics to pass regulatory standards.

Independent contributor capable of developing products within cross‑functional and geographically diverse engineering teams

Solid skills with documentation, analysis, and presentations tools, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint
