Overview The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at Nationwide Children's Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine are seeking to recruit an outstanding pediatric rheumatologist to join their growing team. The successful candidate will hold an appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor faculty level, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology consists of 10 outstanding pediatric rheumatology faculty and one nurse practitioner and offers pediatric and combined adult and pediatric rheumatology fellowships. The rheumatology faculty provide inpatient consultative care and robust outpatient care including several multidisciplinary clinics: Lupus and Vasculitis Clinic, Auto-Inflammatory Disease Clinic, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Clinic, Sedated Joint Injection Service, Neuroimmunology Clinic, Hematology, Immunology and Lymphoproliferative Diseases Clinic, and a nurse practitioner-led Hypermobility Clinic. Integration of a full-time psychologist, social worker and pharmacist into our team facilitates excellent and comprehensive patient care. Three faculty are fully credentialed in musculoskeletal ultrasound and provide diagnostic and interventional ultrasound care. Our faculty are actively engaged in investigator-led research, collaborative research, clinical trials, clinical informatics, quality improvement and advocacy. The team works closely with adult rheumatologists at The Ohio State University and has a shared rheumatology grand rounds.

Qualifications Applicants must have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology and be board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Rheumatology. Applicants should have excellent clinical skills and a strong commitment to teaching and research.
