Job Description
When an entire city needs to be rendered into a 3D model, utilities buried deep under soil need to be uncovered, highly complex infrastructure projects need to be implemented and even when crime scene investigation needs to be documented –that’s Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon. The
Direct Sales Representative
will drive
Reality Capture sales
in the Northeast – primarily in Pennsylvania and New Jersey – by managing accounts, developing new clients, and maintaining relationships with existing clients. Key responsibilities include sales calls, closing sales orders, territory management, organizing promotional activities, conducting customer seminars, and providing technical advice on Leica products. The role requires monitoring market trends, preparing sales forecasts, and collaborating on pricing strategies. A background in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field, with strong sales and technical skills, is preferred. Travel (50%+) and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce are essential.

Assist clients on technical questions: refer to Technical Services or other divisions within the Corporation as required.
Assessment of Customer needs and matching identified needs with Leica products and services.

Prepare and submit annual sales forecasts, including unit sales for designated sales territory; pre-call planning; territory and account planning.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS
Degree from technical institute or commercial college with an emphasis on surveying or civil engineering or related field; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in all applications of surveying and related software.
In-depth knowledge of Survey, Scanning and AutoCAD required
Strong aptitude for sales along with excellent technical, communications and presentation skills required.
