The post holder will work in bothpatient-facing and non-patient-facing roles. The post holder will be either anindependent prescriber or be committed to obtaining this qualification.
Main duties of the job
Review the on-going need for each medicine. Run own long-term condition clinics where responsible forprescribing as an independent prescriber Undertake clinical medication reviews with patients andproduce recommendations for/implement changes in prescribing and monitoring. Answers relevant medicine-related enquiries from GPs, otherpractice staff, other healthcare teams and patientswith queries about medicines. Suggesting and recommending solutions.
