You will support all Mental Health Services programs to deliver outstanding service and outcomes for the community. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a clinical and practice supervision framework for our services.

A key component of this role is the evaluation of existing mental health practice and outcomes, and the research, development and implementation of innovative mental health practice to meet emerging community needs.You’ll deliver person-centred services across *the service*. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by:* Lead, motivate and mentor mental health services staff to provide excellence in service outcomes.* Provide clinical/practice supervision to a variety of staff as required, including the Practice Leads of mental health service areas.* Support case conferences and case discussions within services to assist staff with complex cases and cross-referrals within WMQ and external referrals as appropriate.* Hold responsibility for the MHS clinical governance portfolio including the chairing of regular meetings and participation in incident reviews.* Evaluation of existing mental health practice and outcomes, and research, development and implementation of innovative mental health practice to meet community needs.* Actively pursue and create pathways for service delivery and business growth from multiple funding streams including block funding and fee for service options.* Review and monitor systems, processes and procedures specifically relating to mental health best practice on an ongoing basis, to ensure consistently high standards and implement improvements/changes in consultation with relevant managers when necessary.**What We’re Looking For*** Relevant qualification in a professional Allied Health discipline (Social Work, Occupational Therapy, MH Nursing or Psychology) and registration with associated regulatory body.* Postgraduate studies in a related mental health or management field.* Minimum 5 years’ experience at a senior clinician level.* Relevant leadership and team building experience at a senior level.* Demonstrated high levels of professional independence including delivering professional supervision.* High level of initiative in accomplishing objectives and undertaking projects.* Knowledge of navigating organisational operations.* Demonstrated specialist clinical and operational knowledge to manage efficiently and effectively the clinical and day to day operations of a multidisciplinary health team.* Demonstrated high level of verbal and written communication skills that can be applied to work with staff and customer groups.**Essential Requirements*** Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)* Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.* Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work**About Wesley Mission Queensland (WMQ)**Wesley Mission Queensland is a leading not-for-profit provider of health and community services.
