Senior Systems Engineer - Avionics Test Engineering (Onsite)

**Senior Systems Engineer,** perform analysis at all levels of the total automated test solution including concept, design, build, verification & validation, deployment, operation, maintenance and disposal. You will support technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for test systems. You will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. You will decompose customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system requirements and generates verification criteria and plans for the requirements. You will also support the configuration process, performs functional analysis, timing analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Develop Test Systems requirements and validation procedures; provide technical solution for building the Test Solutions as per the requirements
**QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:** Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
Experience with engineering development tools like DOORS, Jama, Matlab, Atlassian Collaboration Tools, and Microsoft Office 365 suite.Experience in requirements verification and validation, and developing verification criteria and procedures for the requirements **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals. Experience in requirements development including but not limited to stakeholder analysis, decomposition of systems level requirements into hardware and software sub-systems
Good organization skills
Experience with Agile Methodologies
Experience with modern scripting languages (e.g. C++, Labview, Python, etc.) Experience with avionics industry standards, such as ARINC-429, ARINC-661 (display interface),ARINC-664 (AFDX), ARINC-818, and IEEE 802.3 (ethernet)Problem-solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges.
