Position Title: Research Technician, Environmental Engineering Location: Villanova, PA Position Type: Temp/Intern Work Schedule: part-time/12-months Approximate Number of Hours per Week: 5+ hours per week
Position Summary:
The Research Technician Civil and Environmental Engineering will support Dr. Wenqing Xu by conducting experiments on contaminant adsorption. This includes setting up experiments, running chemical analysis, and writing weekly reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
Set up experiments and run chemical analysis.
Assist teammates in conducting chemical analysis.
Participate in research team meetings to discuss progress and generate new ideas.
Perform additional duties and assist with projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic lab experience at the undergraduate level.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
