Experience allocating requirements to architectural elements and supporting traceability activities
Familiarity with DoDAF 2.0.2 and UAF metamodels
Familiarity with SysML and model-based systems engineering principles
Active/Current Secret Clearance

Previous experience supporting DoD or space/defense systems integration programs
Exposure to architecture modeling tools (e.g., Cameo Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw)

Peraton is seeking experienced Systems Engineer who will work closely with lead architects and modelers to support requirements management, architecture development, and systems integration for a complex, large-scale defense system.
This role is ideal for engineers with a solid background in systems engineering who are interested in growing into architecture modeling roles, including formal training in DoDAF/UAF and Cameo Enterprise Architect.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze source documents (e.g., CONOPS, ICDs, system specifications) to identify key architectural elements and requirements
Trace and allocate requirements to architectural elements, ensuring alignment with DoDAF/UAF modeling standards
Support the development of architecture models by identifying key elements and their relationships for integration into the program architecture
Participate in requirements management and systems integration activities across multiple program stakeholders
Train under senior architect modelers to develop modeling skills in DoDAF 2.0.2 and UAF using Cameo Enterprise Architect
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and integration teams to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and accurately represented in the system architecture
