Overview: McIntire Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Junior Enterprise Architecture Engineer / SysML Modeler to support a critical national security mission in Chantilly, VA. This role offers the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of systems engineering and intelligence integration, contributing to the design and implementation of advanced overhead systems that support U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) operations. As part of the Systems Engineering Directorate (SED), you will collaborate with senior architects and engineers to design scalable, mission-driven architectures, optimize system performance, and drive innovation using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches. --- Responsibilities: · Develop, manage, and integrate system and enterprise-level architectures using SysML modeling tools such as Cameo. · Support the definition and documentation of system requirements, architectural patterns, interfaces, and design elements. · Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to incorporate technical capabilities for overhead SIGINT and GEOINT systems, including both space and ground components. · Participate in strategic planning for Major System Acquisitions (MSAs) and Special Interest Acquisitions, producing enterprise-level products and roadmaps. · Apply MBSE methodologies to support architecture analysis, trade studies, and lifecycle systems engineering efforts. · Work across all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle, from concept and system definition to realization and deployment. · Align modeling efforts with standards such as DoDAF and UAF to ensure compliance and traceability. --- Basic Qualifications: · Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems architecture or model-based systems engineering. · Hands-on experience using SysML tools, preferably Cameo, to develop and manage system models. · Familiarity with fundamental systems architecture concepts, patterns, and lifecycle processes. · Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. --- Desired Qualifications: · Experience working within the Intelligence Community, particularly in SIGINT or GEOINT domains. · Familiarity with DoDAF and/or UAF frameworks. · Exposure to integrating architectures across complex intelligence systems. · Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. --- Key Skills & Tools: · Cameo / MagicDraw · Architecture Integration Seniority level
