As an Analytics Consulting Specialist at Equifax, you will be a trusted analytical advisor and a critical extension of our sales organization. You will leverage your deep understanding of the commercial lending environment and the full lending cycle to bring powerful data-driven insights to our clients. In this dynamic, customer-facing role, you will specialize in telling a compelling story with data, focusing on Equifax, The Work Number’s market-leading Verification of Employment and Income solution. You will partner closely with our Auto, Debt Management, Card, and Consumer Finance sales teams, as well as our technical, product, and Data & Analytics teams, to support the client journey, demonstrate the unique value of Equifax solutions, and help clients identify opportunities and solve complex challenges.
This hybrid position is based at our Clayton office in St. Louis, with in-office work required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and the flexibility to work remote on Mondays and Fridays.
What You’ll Do:
Engage directly with prospects and customers in a pre-sales consulting capacity, guiding them from initial solution design through to successful implementation.
Partner with the sales team to perfect the client narrative, finding anomalies and opportunities within customer data to showcase the power of The Work Number.
Serve as the subject matter expert on Verification of Employment and Income data, advocating for its use and demonstrating its value based on actual customer data and inputs.
Work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment, partnering with Sales, Product Management, and Data & Analytics teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive client solutions.
Translate complex data into a clear, compelling story for clients, helping them understand the insights and opportunities our solutions provide.
Define and propose best-in-class insight solutions for Equifax customers across various applications, including risk management and marketing.
Enhance client relationships, drive new programs and revenue, and increase Equifax’s mindshare within your assigned accounts.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the prevailing economic environment, its key drivers, and important industry trends affecting our clients.
Utilize sophisticated critical thinking skills to identify innovative solutions to complex problems for our clients.
What Experience You Need:
Possesses 7-10 years of experience in the financial industry, with a deep, ready-to-apply understanding of core concepts like lending cycles.
Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in the commercial lending environment and the complete credit lifecycle. Previous experience with Verification of Income (VOI) and Verification of Employment (VOE) solutions is highly beneficial.
Demonstrates 5+ years of analytical experience with a proven ability to dissect complex data, extract actionable insights, and present findings clearly.
Requires 3-5 years of hands-on experience using SQL or Python for data querying and analysis.
Experience in a customer-facing role, comfortable partnering with Account Executives (AEs) and presenting information directly to clients.
Holds a bachelor's degree or has equivalent, relevant work experience.
Ability to travel up to 20%
