We are currently seeking a

Director of Engineering

to oversee the operations of the Engineering Department. Responsibilities include ensuring all systems operate to standard, maintaining property assets at the highest level, and complying with all legally mandated Life Safety systems/criteria. Additional duties encompass staffing, training, scheduling, planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating all engineering activities to ensure departmental efficiency and the preparation of all required reports. Required Skills & Experience

Supervise all engineering and maintenance activities to ensure high-quality workmanship and production Establish schedules and oversee all preventive maintenance activities Assist in establishing and implementing Life Safety and emergency procedures/training for all personnel Maintain records of all maintenance and repairs as required by corporate policy and legal mandates Coordinate inspection and certification of all Life Safety systems and equipment as per local ordinances Perform periodic inspections of all property assets to determine condition and prioritize maintenance needs Develop and oversee Engineering Department budgets according to corporate guidelines Compile lists of future projects and priorities for review and approval by senior management Coordinate the preparation of the annual ADA compliance checklist Participate actively in the Senior Leadership Committee and attend meetings Oversee activities of outside contractors performing maintenance, repair, or renovation operations Hire, train, evaluate, coach, counsel, and discipline departmental personnel according to Loews standards Make decisions based on imperfect information, demonstrating agility, decisiveness, and a bias toward action Qualifications

Experience: At least 4 years in engineering and maintenance or a related professional area, with technical training in HVAC-R, Electrical, or Plumbing Education: College degree preferred Compensation

Salary range: $148,000.00 to $185,000.00, based on experience. About Us
