The
Video Editor
is a key member of the Brand Creative Team based in Irvine, CA. This role collaborates closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, copywriters, and marketers to create engaging video content across campaign, athlete, product, and social media storytelling. The ideal candidate brings a sharp eye for pacing and narrative, with the technical skill to take projects from raw footage to polished final exports. Success in this role means delivering high-quality, platform-optimized video content that aligns with brand voice and drives audience engagement.
This position reports to the
Photo & Video Manager
and is expected to work from the
Adventure Sport platform in Irvine, CA.
As the Video Editor you will have an opportunity to:
Edit short-form and long-form video content for a variety of channels including social, digital campaigns, product launches, and athlete features
Create platform-native edits for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and more, with an understanding of best practices per channel
Ensure all video content is on-brand, visually compelling, and consistent in tone and quality
Manage the full post-production process: import and organize footage, assemble edits, apply transitions, audio adjustments, and final exports
Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm, storyboard, and bring video concepts to life
Stay organized and efficient while juggling multiple timelines and meeting fast-paced deadlines
Implement feedback with agility and a solutions-focused mindset
Contribute to evolving the brand’s video style and storytelling techniques
You Have
3+ years of experience editing videos, ideally in a brand or social-first content environment
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
Strong editing sensibility with a focus on pacing, rhythm, and storytelling
Ability to manage projects independently and work collaboratively within a creative team
Familiarity with social platform specs and evolving content formats
Basic color correction and grading skills a plus
Motion design experience is a bonus
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Comfortable with quick turnarounds and shifting priorities
Passionate about visual storytelling and keeping up with content trends
Clear communicator and collaborative team player
Primarily a desk-based role; may occasionally assist on set or attend creative reviews
Pay Range Annual Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,00.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
