Surgical Services - CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant @ Piedmont Atlanta Hospital- Atlanta, GA Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant Unit: 76190 CVOR- STFA Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00) Block Schedules: No Start Date: 02/26/2024 Job Duration: 14 WEEKS Description: SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: RTO: MAX 7 days BLOCK or SELF SCHEDULING - not available WEEKENDS: Not specified CALL REQUIREMENTS: Yes/variable - Typically one week day/call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day: Monday, May 27 Independence Day: Thursday, July 4 Labor Day: Monday, September 2 Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29 Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25 FLOATING: N/A SCRUBS: Provided MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics - CVOR STFA REQUIRED SKILLS: BCLS, NBSTSA, CSFA, Cardiac (Cardiomyoplasty, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window & VAD), Vascular (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atherectomy, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, EVAR, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, TAVR, TEVAR and Vein stripping), Thoracic are all hard requirements for both STFA and RNFA. Heart Transplant is highly preferred. Other areas required include: Acute Inpatient OR, CVOR, ENT, General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Total Joints, Thoracic, Transplant & Urology, ability to scrub and circulate UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis EPIC, SBAR COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Unknown PAY FOR 36 HOURS $32 HRLY X 36 HRS = $1,152 $1211.00 Weekly Housing Allowance $518.00 Weekly Meals Allowance $2,881 WEEKLY GROSS
