WHAT IS THE JOB? As an Assistant Manager in our Sid Mashburn Atlanta shop, you will support the Store Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store to our brand standards and supervising and training staff while also being a highly contributing team member, driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will role model how to develop loyal customer relationships, provide exceptional service, improve operational efficiency, identify and resolve issues, and support and motivate your team. This is a salary exempt position. WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES? Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and seasonal individual and store sales goals. including personally selling equal to or above $500k annually within your store. Ensure store appearance meets our brand standards in cleanliness and visual merchandising. Ensure store and staff comply with company policies and regulations. Manage weekly staff schedule to maximize individual and collective skills of the team and ensure proper store coverage. Assist in the training of sales associates across all responsibilities including customer service, clienteling, product knowledge, visual merchandising, and store operations. Motivate team to encourage a positive work environment fostering a friendly and service-oriented atmosphere. Demonstrate deep knowledge of the products and styling to advise customers of all shapes, sizes, and ages. Maintain an active client book, contacting clients regularly, and providing appropriate follow-up. Act as a store leader for Endear/CRM tool including but not limited to building and monitoring campaigns, bulk assigning clients to associates, moving clients from associates who are no longer with the company, and removing former employees from the system. Create meaningful relationships with customers to personalize interactions, build loyalty, and develop brand ambassadors. Assist Store Manager in analyzing product sales reports and develop action plans to address inventory needs and drive sales. Assist the Store Manager in recruiting and hiring new team members. Partner with Store Manager and team to complete monthly floor store sets. Partner with Store Manager to oversee the strategic marketing of Mashburn in the community through events and more. Responsible for the operations of the store when the Store Manager is not present. Partner with the Store Manager for all cross-functional calls including merchant, visual, and operations calls. Passion for menswear with knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and styling preferred. High level of attention to detail. Displays a high level of comfort and understanding of technology including POS system, CRM tool, shipping and receiving system, HR system (recruiting, hiring, time & attendance), and security system (cameras, alarms, etc.). Exceptional oral and written communications skills. Efficient and effective process and people management. Ability to shift gears quickly and comfortably and to solve complex issues. Has an entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for growing with Mashburn. Has a proactive, self-starter mindset that brings new ideas and solutions to the team. Has the desire and ability to potentially travel to other locations to support or train on any of the above-described skills and responsibilities.
