Overview
The Sr. Director of Operations Finance is both a strategic leader and hands‑on partner responsible for driving financial excellence across the Gorilla Glue Company’s global manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role balances executive‑level influence with day‑to‑day involvement, ensuring robust financial analysis, accurate reporting, and actionable insights.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Corporate leadership to set financial strategy that enables cost optimization, working‑capital discipline, and long‑term growth.
Translate operational performance into clear financial implications and strategic recommendations.
Oversee working‑capital management and drive initiatives to optimize operating cash flow while aligning with enterprise financial objectives.
Lead a high‑performing operations finance team, setting priorities and developing capabilities.
Engage in detailed cost analysis, variance reviews, and scenario modeling to ensure accuracy and depth of insights.
Build tools and frameworks that enhance decision‑making and streamline reporting.
Direct Operations Finance reporting, building new reporting tools in Oracle ERP/EPM and BI platforms.
Own forecasting and planning cycles for Operations, integrating global finance timelines.
Provide leadership and financial oversight for capital expenditure requests, reviewing ROI analyses and validating realized savings.
Lead cost‑to‑serve modeling, ensuring product costs accurately reflected in pricing and supply‑chain decisions.
Present financial performance and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
Qualifications
B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
12+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles supporting manufacturing and/or supply chain.
Strong experience with cost accounting and accounting controllership background, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity in financial reporting and operational analysis.
Demonstrated success as both a strategic leader and hands‑on contributor.
Experience with ERP/EPM implementations (Oracle preferred) and advanced BI/reporting tools.
Strong track record of driving operational efficiencies, cost savings, and financial process improvements.
Strong analytical and strategic problem‑solving skills; proven ability to influence senior leadership while also engaging in detailed, tactical work.
Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.
