What You’ll Do
AP Operations Management: Lead end-to-end AP processes, including vendor onboarding, invoice approvals, payments, reconciliations, and reporting. This is not a “keep the lights on” role — it is an opportunity to design the future state of AP: a lean, technology-driven function leveraging Bill.com, AI, and NetSuite, with manual tasks minimized and processes automated end-to-end.
Process Design & Transformation: Redesign AP operations to reduce manual intervention and leverage automation. Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure AP efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness. Partner with Accounting and FP&A to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.
Controls, Compliance & Audit: Ensure AP is audit-ready, with documented processes and effective internal controls. Implement and monitor approval workflows that strengthen controls without slowing down business operations. Support external audit requirements, providing AP expertise and reporting as needed.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor an AP team with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Establish clear performance goals, provide coaching, and support professional growth. Long‑term, position AP as a lean, technology-enabled function capable of scaling efficiently.
How Success is Measured
Invoice Accuracy Rate: ≥95%
Automation & Reporting Adoption: ≥90% invoices automated
Invoice-to-pay cycle time: reduce by 50%
What You Bring
Minimum 7 years in Accounts Payable/Finance Operations, including SaaS or multi‑entity environments; 2+ years in a leadership role.
Expertise with Bill.com and NetSuite preferred; proven ability to drive automation and workflow optimization.
Strong understanding of AP best practices.
Proficiency with Excel and reporting dashboards to monitor and improve AP KPIs.
Collaborative, detail‑oriented, and able to communicate clearly with finance leadership and cross‑functional partners.

At PracticeTek, we determine compensation by considering market data, internal equity, and each candidate’s skills and experience. For this position, we reasonably expect to pay between $49,450 and $120,000. This role is also eligible for benefits, including health, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and may be eligible for additional compensation such as bonuses or equity, as applicable.
