The Senior Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. This position is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and client relationships, ensuring successful outcomes on complex projects. The Senior Project Manager will also mentor project teams and contribute to business development efforts by fostering lasting partnerships with clients, architects, and engineers. Regular travel to project sites, including out-of-state locations, is required. Responsibilities

Lead all phases of assigned projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. Develop and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and profit projections. Oversee preconstruction efforts, including bid package preparation, scope development, and value engineering. Ensure project compliance with all safety standards, contract requirements, and construction techniques. Manage communication between owners, design teams, and field operations to maintain alignment and resolve issues. Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent software. Utilize project management platforms (e.g., Procore) to track documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Supervise and mentor project managers, engineers, and interns to promote professional growth and consistent performance. Evaluate subcontractor bids, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor coordination. Monitor and analyze project costs, materials, and labor to maintain profitability throughout project execution. Support business development through relationship-building with new and existing clients. Lead risk management and quality control initiatives to ensure project success. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of proven project management experience on commercial construction projects. Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and cost control methods. Proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and resolve project challenges effectively. Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Experience in retail, high-end restaurant, K–12 education, office, or automotive dealership construction preferred. Willingness to travel as required to project sites. Seniority level
