Washington, DC (in residence at Georgetown except agreed absences) Responsibilities
Conduct interdisciplinary research on environmental and sustainability challenges (e.g., climate change, biodiversity conservation, food and water security, environmental justice). Collaborate with one or more Earth Commons faculty or affiliated faculty. Teach one semester of undergraduate BS-ES curriculum during the fellowship. Prepare research projects with identified faculty mentors. Qualifications
Ph.D. (or expected by June 2026) in environmental science, biology, chemistry, engineering, or related field. Proposed area of research in collaboration with an Earth Commons Affiliate Member. Strong proposal with faculty mentors from multiple departments or schools within Georgetown. Excellent communication, teaching and research skills. Application Instructions

Stage 1 materials: 250-word research project abstract (must be developed with affiliate faculty mentor), CV, cover letter. Abstract: 250 words, 12pt font, double spaced, include clear research question/hypothesis, justification of faculty collaboration. Salary:
