Job Description Performance Contracting Group (PCG) is seeking a dynamic and strategic
Regional Quality Manager
to join its
Corporate Quality Assurance Department
and provide oversight of quality for our construction operations in the South Central Region. This position has a primary worksite location near
Dallas, TX , or another approved PCI branch location in Texas.
Individuals with experience in construction field leadership roles such as Foreman, General Foreman, or Superintendent are considered well‑qualified and are highly encouraged to apply!
In this collaborative role, you will provide strategic leadership and guidance on all quality‑related matters across assigned Performance Contracting operations, branches, and departments. This individual will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of PCG’s Quality Management System by analyzing key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Working in partnership with operations teams, this role will oversee the implementation and administration of established corporate quality programs, serving as a consultant to branch offices in support of continuous improvement initiatives. While this position does not include direct supervision of employees, it maintains quality oversight of construction operations throughout the South Central region—including but not limited to Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin, Texas—with an expected travel commitment of 40–60% to ensure consistent engagement and support across all assigned locations.
Responsibilities
Update and maintain quality plans for assigned PCI product lines
Submit and assist with project‑specific product line quality plans for customer approval
Submit and assist with subcontractor quality plans for customer approval
Assist with updating the Company Quality Manual
Provide quality presentations to colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders
Assist PCI branch quality personnel with establishing project contingency plans, preparing for internal and external audits, and other assigned QMS tasks
Provide, coordinate, and record training for PCG’s QMS, tools, vendor specialties, quality software, equipment, product line quality plans, etc.
Create and update procedures and forms for assigned product lines
Solicit customer feedback related to PCG's Quality Management System
Monitor, measure, analyze, and evaluate assigned branches’ quality‑related Key Performance Indicators for trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Coordinate and attend project quality kick‑off meetings
Perform any additional quality tasks as needed
Basic Requirements
Must have 3-5 years’ experience working within the construction trade
Must have 3-5 years’ experience leading others
Experience with enforcement of a quality management system (QMS) and ISO 9001 standards in lean manufacturing or construction industry is required
Must have the ability to travel 40-60% of the time (to assigned PCI branches & job sites)
Showcases excellent, professional communication skills — both written and verbal
Demonstrates a solutions‑oriented mindset with holistic consideration of long‑range planning and strategy
Demonstrates the ability to adapt to ever‑evolving environments
Proven track record of success working independently, within a team, and collaboratively alongside various stakeholders
Displays strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with Procore and Microsoft Office Suite products, including Excel, SharePoint, Word, Outlook, etc.
Ability to positively foster, influence, lead, and manage change
Takes an ambitious and self‑motivated approach to driving quality improvements and operational excellence
Effectively engages with diverse teams, fosters cooperation, and proactively builds strong working relationships with stakeholders
Maintains self‑accountability and reliability as a trusted consultant on all quality‑related matters
Preferred Requirements
Experience in a construction field leadership role, such as Foreman, General Foreman, or Superintendent is highly preferred
Experience with interior finishes (e.g., ACT, drywall, tile, etc.) is highly preferred
Professional certification(s) pertaining to quality, safety, or manufacturing (e.g., Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer, etc.) are a plus
Associate’s degree in business administration, construction management, or similar is a plus
Fluency in Spanish is a plus
