for its

PCI Indianapolis 551

operations based in

Carmel, IN . This individual will be involved in Metal Framing, Drywall, Acoustical Ceiling, and Insulated Metal Panel scopes and is responsible for the following duties: Responsibilities

Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects. Establish labor productivities for estimate. Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing. Solicit subcontractor pricing for work done outside of our self-perform group. Understand market conditions including competitive approach, backlog, level of risk for work and other factors for establishing margin percentages. Be involved in internal bid reviews with supervisors and the project team. Participate in customer alignment objectives by creating and maintaining positive customer relations. Contract administration for secured projects. Prepare wage and benefit schedules. Assist in the hand-off of secured projects to the Operations Team. Assist in other duties as assigned such as change order management or billings depending on the project(s). This position is safety sensitive. Basic Requirements

At least 2-3 years of estimating commercial drywall construction projects. Experience with estimating drywall scopes of construction. Strong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work. Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships. Excellent communication and customer service skills. High level of attention to detail and cost analysis. Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work. Proficiency with computer takeoff & estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quickbid. Preferred Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management. Benefits
