Concentra is looking for an orthopedic spine surgeon to join as a 1099 independent contractor. The role involves providing specialist services on-site at Concentra for a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, and compensation is based on a revenue share model. Salary rate/range shown on the viewing platform (e.g., Indeed) may differ from Concentra's market-specific rate, which will be provided during the interview process. Responsibilities
Assist in the management of medically complex patients, expedite return to work and functional restoration. Provide specialist services, both non-surgical and surgical, for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries, in collaboration with medical and therapy providers. Communicate with employers and actively participate in case management. Treat patients on-site at Concentra as part of a 4-hour shift schedule. Qualifications
Preferred experience in treating patients with work-related injuries. Licensure requirements of the state of practice. Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program. Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery. Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage for on-site work.
