Hematologist
to lead primary Classical (Benign) Hematology while supporting Malignant Hematology care. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, manage, and treat a full spectrum of hematologic disorders including leukemia, lymphoma, anemia, hemoglobinopathies, hemophilia, and thrombophilia. Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and transfusions when clinically indicated. Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—Oncology, Pathology, Radiology—to ensure seamless coordination. Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and long-term management. Engage in system-wide initiatives to improve quality, access, and program reach. Qualifications & Experience
MD or DO, board or fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology or Hematology alone. Active medical license in New York State. Clinical experience with both outpatient and inpatient hematology. Commitment to teaching, mentorship, and research within a hospital-based environment. Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary range: $400,000 – $500,000. Sign‑on bonus of $50,000 for qualified candidates. Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible physician benefits. Full benefits package – health, dental, vision, disability, and malpractice coverage. Defined pension plan with fully funded option and 403(b). Relocation support and dedicated onboarding resources.
