KOS International Limited - Associate Director Company Introduction:

We are a professional sports brand deeply rooted in the outdoor industry, with a core focus on the R&D and market expansion of mountaineering running shoes. Leveraging our in-depth insights into mountain terrain, we have developed professional mountaineering running shoes featuring slip resistance, wear resistance, waterproofing, breathability, and adaptability to high-altitude/complex rocky terrain. Our technical capabilities have been recognized by international outdoor gear review institutions and seasoned outdoor enthusiasts. The brand has long participated in top global outdoor events (e.g., UTMB - Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc) and has accumulated a solid user base and event exposure in the European market. Currently, we are accelerating the layout of key overseas markets such as the United States, France, and Italy, aspiring to become a trusted mountaineering running shoe brand among outdoor enthusiasts worldwide.

Job Responsibilities:

Take charge of developing the mountaineering running shoe category from scratch in the U.S. market, focusing on expanding local sales channels. Prioritize engaging with existing franchisees, distributors, and professional outdoor stores of benchmark outdoor brands (e.g., Hoka, Salomon) to facilitate the signing and implementation of cooperation agreements.

Leverage the brand’s user resources accumulated from previous European events to design localized scenario-based activities (e.g., mountain hiking training camps, product experience sessions during events). Drive the conversion of mountaineering running shoes from "event exposure" to "channel-based sales" and enhance the brand’s recognition within the local outdoor community.

Collect regional market feedback, including consumer demands for mountaineering running shoes (e.g., preference for large sizes in the U.S., demand for eco-friendly materials in Europe) and competitor dynamics. Sync this information with the domestic product and marketing teams to optimize product positioning and promotion strategies.

Lead the International Business Department in cross-departmental collaboration to ensure the smooth operation of local sales workflows. Meanwhile, oversee the preliminary preparation and coordinated operation of future direct-sale stores.

Comply with the commercial and employment compliance requirements of the target country, such as regulations on permanent contracts in France, FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) standards for footwear materials, and EU REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) regulations. Ensure the legal compliance of local business operations and mitigate risks.

Job Requirements:

Possess over 5 years of sales experience in the outdoor gear/sports product category, with familiarity with the U.S. market dynamics and retail ecosystem.

Have access to local resources for franchisee development, distributor management, or cooperation with professional outdoor stores, and be capable of rapidly advancing the implementation of channel partnerships.

Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and cross-cultural collaboration awareness, with the ability to drive communication and collaboration across teams.
