Restaurant General Manager - Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, a Forbes 5‑Star, AAA 5‑Diamond hotel, is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our newly reconcepted Italian Steakhouse. The role reports to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and manages a Food & Beverage Manager and a team of 25‑30 front‑of‑house staff.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations to achieve exceptional food quality, service excellence, and guest satisfaction aligned with the brand’s Italian steakhouse identity.

Lead, recruit, train, and mentor front‑and‑back‑of‑house teams, fostering a positive, inclusive environment and conducting performance evaluations.

Develop and manage budgets, monitor key performance indicators, control costs, and maximize profitability while maintaining high standards of quality.

Ensure a superior guest experience, promptly address feedback, and lead by example in service delivery.

Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute local promotions, special events, and marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and customer loyalty.

Maintain full compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor laws, ensuring a safe working environment.

Work closely with the chef to support menu innovation, seasonal offerings, and quality improvements celebrating Italian cuisine and premium steaks.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of progressive management experience in fine dining, Italian cuisine, or steakhouse settings, ideally within luxury hotel environments.

Proven track record of leading high‑performing teams and overseeing multi‑million‑dollar operations.

Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Excellent communication skills, a guest‑centric mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Familiarity with Italian culture and cuisine is preferred.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Experience in unionized environments is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Classification: Full‑Time

Shift: Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range: $100,000 – $120,000 annually (based on experience and location).
