Facilities Manager – Overview Sally’s Apizza is expanding across the United States and we are seeking a Facilities Manager to maintain the physical integrity of all corporate restaurant locations. The Facilities Manager will oversee preventative maintenance programs, repair of company equipment, and management of service vendors on a national level.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate site visits, equipment inspections, and quarterly audits to ensure restaurants operate at restaurant standards.
Develop and execute facility maintenance programs to guarantee furniture, fixtures, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems are maintained and repaired as needed.
Oversee remodels, renovations, and construction improvements on an ongoing basis and schedule, coordinate, and execute site visits to inspect equipment in monthly intervals based on warranty timelines.
Manage repair and maintenance budgets, develop and manage service vendor relationships, and work with restaurant general managers to prioritize needs.
Maintain complete project records and close‑out documents.
Qualifications
Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the repair of restaurants.
Experience in commercial building maintenance/repair.
Knowledge of working with Power, Water, Gas, and Utility companies and their field mechanics.
Experience in overseeing subcontractors and hiring of all tradesmen.
Ability to order the right tradesmen and material sources for repair/replacement and maintenance.
Experience with reading building plans.
Highly organized and able to keep records of work performed and understand scheduled maintenance and warranty cycles.
Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
Minimum 5 years of related experience and prior experience in the restaurant industry.
Language
English
Basic Spanish (preferred but not required)
Work Environment
Work week is Monday through Friday with availability to be on‑call in the event of an emergency or critical business need.
Must be able to work flexible schedule, including “on call” weekends.
Travel required to all properties within the expanding portfolio.
